This is the best piece of advice. People are always asking me what advice I would give to someone trying to do art full time. It took me a while to save money and make the leap to doing art full time. I don’t regret how I did it, but I do regret thinking I had to be at a certain level before I could start promoting my art. I kept thinking the day would come where I just feel like it’s perfect... that day will never come, so get started now and then keep pushing yourself. In the end, people can actually appreciate seeing your growth over time. I look back now and think how cool it is to see how much my art has evolved.
